"skaffold run" cannot find core-1.0.7.tgz

when trying to install command-view-app, skaffold fails with:

error An unexpected error occurred: “https://gitlab.mosaic.psdo.leidos.com/api/v4/projects/291/packages/npm/@prosight-ui/core/-/@prosight-ui/core-1.0.7.tgz: Request failed "404 Not Found"”.

I tried it with all US-VPNs.

Without VPN i got the following error, as expected:
info There appears to be trouble with your network connection. Retrying…

If i try the url in the browser, i get the tgz. In my opinion this means i am authorized for it.

But if i curl it in iTerm i also get the 404 Error

Is there any solution that you know about?

I believe when trying to grab a package from a private Gitlab regsitry, you need to add a PRIVATE_TOKEN header. See the Gitlab Packages API: Packages API | GitLab Docs

curl --header "PRIVATE-TOKEN: <your_access_token>" "https://gitlab.example.com/api/v4/projects/:id/packages"
