Is there a way to tell the service generators to produce a maven project rather than gradle?

As of version 3.3, LEAF Service Generators do not offer an option to generate a maven project.

I believe that Gradle comes with a Maven plugin which will generate Maven POM XML file for you.
Add this line to your generated service’s build.gradle:
apply plugin: 'maven'
Run the install task:
./gradlew install
You should find a generated Maven POM .xml file at: build/poms/pom-default.xml
