I’ve done some research, and it looks like in LEAF 3.5, it is not possible to set a custom ID on a DataObjectQuery. This is possible starting in the LEAF 3.7, when a DataObject Backed implementation of the DataObjectQueryService was introduced. In that version and newer versions, it is possible to set a custom ID on a DataObjectQuery if you are using the new DataObject backed implementation.
